SMALLRIG Cage for Sony FX30 FX3 with Cable Clamp

The FX30 / FX3 Cage features a modular design, comprising a NATO rail module and a U-shaped cage module. The NATO rail is secured on the top via two 1/4"-20 screws, allowing for the attachment of the original XLR top handle after disassembly. The U-shaped cage module is fixed via 1/4"-20 screws on both sides and the bottom to prevent twisting. The package includes a dedicated cable clamp for HDMI to protect the interface and ensure signal stability during shooting.

The cage boasts a classic bright black surface, offering a fresh and fashionable aesthetic. The battery compartment is designed with a hinge arm to fit the camera's curve, improving the grip experience for the little finger. Built-in rubber pads prevent scratches.

Multiple mounting points are available on the cage, including 1/4"-20 holes for the Magic Arm 3873, a locating hole for the ARRI Top Handle 3765, a side NATO rail for the Side Handle 3813, 1/4"-20 positioning holes on the upper left corner and left side for a Rod Clamp 3598 for follow focus, and two 1/4"-20 holes on the side for a quick release plate. The built-in cold shoe can accommodate a Microphone 3468 or an LED Video Light 3286B.

The QR plate at the bottom is compatible with DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, quick release plates (height increase pads), and Arca 3154 plates. The cage also features strap holes on both sides and the bottom, which are compatible with the Hand Strap 3848 and Shoulder Strap PSC2428. The bottom QD socket allows for the installation of a QD shoulder strap, and a magnetic wrench is included for easy disassembly and assembly.

Please note that the spacing between the 1/4" holes on the NATO rail is 27mm, so it is not compatible with accessories with a spacing of 18mm. When using the original XLR handle, the NATO rail must be removed first.
