Among our standout offerings is the NEEWER PG002 Matte Box, designed to be universally compatible with various DSLR and mirrorless cameras, including the Sony A7R IV, A7R V, A7S III, and Canon R6 II, R6, and R5. This matte box effectively prevents lens flare and glare, improving exposure control by blocking excessive light sources.

Versatile Compatibility and Features

The NEEWER PG002 Matte Box is equipped with a built-in ø95mm standard ring, allowing direct use of ø92.5mm round filters. Four lens ring adapters (95-67mm, 95-72mm, 95-77mm, 95-82mm) enable the connection of various circular filters, such as CPL, ND, GND, and UV, without causing dark corners when shooting at a 15mm focal length. The spring-loaded buckle ensures secure installation and quick lens ring adapter removal.

Modular Filter Trays and Tilt Flag

The matte box features two stackable filter trays that can hold a variety of square rectangular filters, including NEEWER's own ND and UV filters, as well as those compatible with K&F, NISI, and TIFFEN. The filters can be securely fastened using the filter tray screw knobs and protected by rubber pads. The 180° tiltable top flag, with a "plain" carbon fiber weave, can be used to block excessive light and prevent lens flare, and can be adjusted to accommodate one or two filter trays.

Compact and Lightweight Design

Measuring 7.4"x5.4"x2.3" (189x137x58mm) and weighing only 10.4oz (295g), the NEEWER PG002 Matte Box is designed to be durable, portable, and suitable for outdoor shooting. The carbon fiber top flag and PC + ABS matte box body contribute to its lightweight and compact construction, while the 1/4" thread base with locating holes allows for easy mounting on 15mm LWS rod support.
