The CAME-TV Astral Wireless Follow Focus System allows you to wirelessly control the focus, iris, or zoom of most DSLR, mirrorless, or cine-style lenses. The core of the system is the pairing of the focus control motor and the focus handwheel.

The controller features an OLED display that provides battery level, connection, calibration, travel, and memory information, and its menus can be navigated using the buttons on the controller. The controller and motor also support run/stop and shutter functions, as well as setting hard A/B/C/D limits for more control over your camera and lens.

The motor features an 0.8 MOD gear and can operate at a high-torque, 0.5Nm speed at a maximum 250 rpm. It has a mini-USB port that allows you to connect a camera for run/stop remote control or update firmware with a separately available cable. The calibration process is simple and automatic, and can be saved to memory.

The system includes a removable mark disk for marking important points, a Lemo power connection for powering the motor with a 12V-18V source, and a 15mm rod clamp for secure mounting on the camera. The controller can be attached to a strap or lanyard for convenient use.

The Astral Wireless Follow Focus System operates at a working frequency of 2.415-2.473 GHz and has a communication distance of up to 100m/328ft (outdoor, no obstruction). It can withstand a working temperature range of -20 to 55°C and has a transmit power of 0 dBm.

The Astral-Motor weighs 200g, with a size of 1008532mm, a maximum torque of 0.50 Nm, and a maximum run speed of 250 rpm. It has a working quiescent current of 70 mA (@12 V) and a stall current of 1.5 A (@12 V), operating on a working voltage of 12-18 V with a noise level of less than 25 dB (@100 rpm).

The Astral-Controller weighs 250g, with a size of 1406758mm, and is powered by a 3.7V, 1000 mAh LiPo battery, providing up to 8 hours of continuous use.
